ബ്രസല്‍സ്:സെനഗലിലെ ഡാക്കറില്‍ നിന്ന് ബെല്‍ജിയന്‍ തലസ്ഥാനമായ ബ്രസ്സല്‍സിലേക്ക് പറക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ബ്രസ്സല്‍സ് എയര്‍ലൈന്‍സ് ഫ്ലൈറ്റായ എസ്എന്‍ 202, രാത്രി 11:51 ന് പറന്നുയര്‍ന്ന് 30 മിനിറ്റുകള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം വിമാനത്തിന്റെ ക്യാബിന്‍ പ്രസവമുറിയായി.

ഗര്‍ഭിണിയായ ഒരു യാത്രക്കാരി ക്യാബിന്‍ ക്രൂവിനെ സമീപിക്കുകയും കഠിനമായ വയറുവേദനയെക്കുറിച്ച് പരാതിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

ഇത് വയറുവേദനയല്ല, മറിച്ച് താന്‍ ഗര്‍ഭത്തിന്‍റെ 32~ാം ആഴ്ചയിലാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ യാത്രക്കാരിയായ എന്‍ഡെയ്ക്ക് പ്രസവ വേദന തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. അധികം താമസിയാതെ പ്രസവവും നടന്നു.

ബ്രസ്സല്‍സ് എയര്‍ലൈന്‍സിന്റെ എയര്‍ബസ് എ330 വിമാനത്തിലാണ് ഫാന്റ ബേബി ജനിച്ചത്. എയര്‍ബസില്‍ മെഡിക്കല്‍ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ ഉണ്ടോ എന്ന് ഓണ്‍~ബോര്‍ഡ് സ്പീക്കറുകളില്‍ ചോദിച്ചു. ബിരുദം നേടിയ നഴ്സ് ലോറും ഒരു ഡോക്ടറും ഉടന്‍ പ്രതികരിച്ചു.

പതിനൊന്ന് കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ ഉയരത്തില്‍ പിന്നിലെ ഗ്യാലിയില്‍ താത്കാലിക പ്രസവമുറിയും സജ്ജീകരിച്ച് കോക്പിറ്റിനെ വിവരമറിയിച്ചു. എയര്‍ബസ് എ 330 ന്റെ ഗതി മാറ്റി വേഗം ഡാക്കറില്‍ വിമാനം ലാന്റ് ചെയ്തു. വിമാനത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഡോക്ടര്‍ കുട്ടി ആരോഗ്യവതിയാണന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു, ജോലിക്കാര്‍ക്കും യാത്രക്കാര്‍ക്കും വലിയ ആശ്വാസമായി.
